There are different types of dental jewellery, here are some examples:

Dazzlers are jewellery designed to make an eye-catching statement, such as diamond-studded gold jewellery or abstract or colourful designs. Gold foil is used to make dazzlers, which are often stars or animal shapes.

Twinkles are small pieces of glittering metal or stones that come in different sizes and colours and are becoming increasingly popular among those who want to make a statement with their dental jewellery. Twinkles are fixed settings made of real gold (yellow or white gold). 

Skyces are larger pieces of crystal glass, coloured stones or precious metals that can be made into stunning works of art on the teeth.

Grills are custom-made pieces of metal or resin that fit over the teeth and often feature intricate designs, from simple gold (yellow or white gold) to detailed patterns with sapphire and other gemstones. 

Dental jewellery can also be applied to veneers and fillings. However, it depends on the type of veneers and the dental jewellery. It is best to consult our dental experts in advance.

First book an appointment online via our website. You will then receive a health form which you should fill out before the treatment. This way, our dental professionals are perfectly prepared for you. 

You can choose whether you would like to have the tooth jewellery applied during dental hygiene, which costs an additional CHF 50 per stone, or as a single treatment. The single treatment costs CHF 150 and each additional stone CHF 50. 

As soon as the treatment starts in our Studio, your tooth surface is cleaned with gentle AIRFLOW technology. Afterwards, your enamel is prepared with a bonding agent so that the jewellery lasts for a long time and no black spots form. It is important to know that our adhesive is especially tooth-friendly and long-lasting. This way you can keep your new, radiant smile long and healthy.

The desired gemstones are then bonded with a tooth-safe special adhesive and cured with light. The stones are attached without damaging the tooth structure. It takes about 15 minutes per tartar.

Soon your treatment will be over. Now enjoy your new, radiant smile with dental jewellery!

After the dental jewellery has been applied, you do not have to pay special attention to your dental care. No food will get stuck in the jewellery and you can continue cleaning your teeth as usual. However, if you maintain poor oral hygiene, caries may develop under the stone.

No, the tooth jewellery is not harmful to your teeth. In addition, the adhesive is tooth-friendly and ensures that the jewellery sticks to your teeth for as long as possible. Our professionals are trained to apply the jewellery in such a way that it does not pose any risk to the surface of your teeth or gums.

The durability of tooth jewellery varies greatly. It may fall off after 6 months or last for several years. With a wrong bite, the jewellery can be torn off in the worst case. At ALPINE WHITE we give you a guarantee if the jewellery falls off within the first 2 months.

If you no longer want the jewellery, it can be easily removed. Visit our Studio for dental hygiene and our professional staff can easily remove the stone. Thanks to professional teeth cleaning, all adhesive residues are gently removed and the tooth surface becomes sparkling clean with airflow and fluoridation.

Yes, you can also use tooth jewellery for dental treatments such as bleaching or dental hygiene. It is important to know that the tooth under the stone is not whitened. The same applies to professional teeth cleaning, the tooth is not cleaned under the jewellery.
