Dental Hygiene
A medical certificate is necessary to ensure that your dental hygiene can be carried out safely and effectively, taking into account your specific health conditions. It helps the dental hygiene team to minimise possible risks and to tailor the treatment to your needs.
A medical certificate is required for dental hygiene at ALPINE WHITE in the following cases:
- Bacterial endocarditis
- Congenital heart defects
- Surgically corrected heart and vascular diseases
- Coronary heart disease (angina pectoris, heart failure)
- Tuberculosis
- Chronic renal insufficiency, dialysis patients
- Kidney transplants
- diabetes
- Osteoporosis
- Severe liver disease
- Epilepsy
- Stroke
- Heart attack
- Immunosuppressed conditions (autoimmune diseases, organ transplants, joint prostheses, tumour diseases)
- Pregnancy
- Multi-medication client/polymorbid client
